A tragedy recently occurred at a California elementary school, and the response from liberals is infuriating.

An enraged husband shot his wife who was teaching at the school and children were harmed during the attack.

Liberals are now trying to claim the shooting was due to a lapse in policies which fit their own political agenda, rather than the horrific incident it was.

The Washington Post reported:

Two adults and two other people, possibly children, were shot today at an elementary school in San Bernardino, Calif., in what authorities say they believe may have been a murder-suicide.

It’s the 12th school shooting of 2017, according to a running tally kept by Everytown for Gun Safety, a pro-gun-control group that sprang up in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting in Newtown, Conn.

The gun control group, Everytown For Gun Safety, is yet another liberal organization which blows matters out of proportion in order to fit their own political agenda.

The statistics given in the statement above is based on a wide array of gun-related incidents, rather than what is related to the incident at hand.

The Washington Post reported:

Everytown’s criteria for inclusion in its count are broad. They include shootings that happen at colleges and universities, as well as at high schools and elementary schools. Accidental discharges — when a gun inadvertently goes off in someone’s pocket, for instance — are included as well.

Liberals are backing their cries for gun control with meaningless claims and poor examples.

For instance, the group used an example of an incident at Kansas State University, where a student accidently shot himself in the leg.

Another example is of a father who accidently fired a gun while picking his daughter up from school. No one was injured in that case.

The Washington Post reported:

Earlier this year a Kansas State University a student accidentally shot himself in the leg in a dorm room. Five days before that, in Florida, a parent picking up a child from elementary school accidentally fire a gun in his car.

While liberal groups such as the Everytown For Gun Safety try to manipulate their policies into action, incidents still happen.

Gun control is not the answer for situations such as these; having ways to protect oneself when such situations arise is.

San Bernardino’s local newspaper reported on the incident and a local source gave his insight on the matter.

The Sun reported:

A survivor of the Dec. 2, 2015, Inland Regional Center attack that killed 14 people in San Bernardino wondered if police or armed security guards should stand watch at every school and if elementary schools now need metal detectors.

Dec. 2 survivor Hal Houser said when he learned about the school shooting Monday morning, he felt “almost remorse” because people don’t seem to be learning from all the terrorist attacks and mass shootings carried out in the United States and around the world.
