Liberal protesters took to the streets of Washington, D.C. in response to the inauguration of President Donald Trump last Friday.

Their so-called “peaceful protests” resulted in many felony charges and arrests being made, as well as damage to private property.

In an ironic twist, the same people the protesters were claiming to represent were also some of the victims of this violence, including the owner of a limo a group of liberal protesters torched.

The limo belonged to a Muslim immigrant, who now faces upwards of $70,000 worth of damages to his property.

The Daily Caller reported:

“An angry mob attacked one of Muhammad Ashraf’s limo drivers while he was sitting in the vehicle on 12th Street in the Northwest part of the city, a local outlet reports. He had just dropped off someone attending an inauguration event when they began throwing bricks and rocks at the limo and smashed through the windows. He quickly got out of the car, cutting his hand badly in the process.”

After their initial attack with bricks and rocks, the protesters took their actions to the extreme and threw a flare into the limo.

The Daily Caller reported:

“The people protesting Trump’s election then torched the car, which belonged to Ashraf’s company Nationwide Chauffeured Services. “It took no longer than five minutes,” the driver told a local outlet. “They smashed all the windows – ‘Bam, bam, bam, bam, bam.’ Then they went and smashed another window of the SUV that was behind me. When I opened the door, I saw a small flame already on the carpet. I step on it, pull it off, take the flare out, smash it on the floor and that’s it.”

While Ashraf, the owner of the limo service and victim of the attack, did not vote for President Trump, he claims he does not support violent protesting by progressives in any form.

Ashraf is liable for the driver, both medically and financially. The driver was injured during the attack.

The Daily Caller reported:

“Ashraf told Red Alert Politics he did not support Trump, but he is obviously upset with the way those protesters chose to demonstrate. “I did not agree with many of the things he said, but that still does not give me the right to go and affect someone’s livelihood,” he said, adding: “I really don’t think we need to take this [violent] route.”

Throughout the country on Inauguration Day, liberal groups took to the streets in what they believed was a meaningful protest.

Violence ensued nationally, and the efforts made by these progressive groups changed nothing.

Many claimed their motivations behind the protests were to make their voices heard, but the only sounds heard were those of sirens, as fires burned and arrests were made and violent protests took hold from radical liberal groups with their own political agendas.

Their violent acts were for nothing, as Trump is still the people’s choice for President.
