Hillary Clinton has been an incomprehensible and inconsolable flip-flopping wreck since that fateful day when the Democratic nominee lost the general election last November.
Many Democrats have been emphatic and outspoken about Hillary Clinton ceasing any sort of redemption in politics.
In fact, the most recent episode of HBO’s Veep echoed and satirized the same sentiment because Selina Meyer (played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus) who just came off a crushing defeat for president in the prior season announces a comeback.
And while most are afraid to tell her that it’s a bad idea, others tell her demonstrably it’s a bad idea and she also wouldn’t get backing from the Democratic Party anyway.
And in a case of life imitating art and vice-versa, maybe a similar chain of events is happening with Hillary Clinton because there’s a reason why she’s desperately trying to claw her way back into the political arena.
Kenneth T. Walsh of U.S. News & World Report wrote:
“Hillary Clinton is edging back into the public spotlight as she increasingly critiques the man who defeated her and deals with the seemingly endless dissection of what went wrong with her presidential campaign last year.
Clinton’s latest foray into the nation’s political debate came when she warned that President Donald Trump seems intent on reversing recent legal gains for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans.
‘We may not ever be able to count on this administration to lead on LGBT issues,’ Clinton told an LGBT fundraising dinner in New York Thursday night.
She added: ‘When this administration rescinded protections for transgender students, my heart broke. When I learned about the proposed cuts in funding for HIV and AIDS research, I thought about all of our efforts to try and achieve an AIDS-free generation.’
She also said, ‘I know the election hit a lot of us hard. I can tell you this: Even when it feels tempting to pull the covers over your heads, please keep going.’”
Read between the lines here — Hillary Clinton is using the LGBT community to despicably stage a comeback.
Hillary Clinton is simply pandering to the gay community and propagating hatred toward the Trump administration, even though President Trump has been very clear about reverting LGBT laws to the states — and that’s it.
She’s annoyingly obtuse about her obvious pandering, too. Hillary famously told a couple of Black radio hosts during the 2016 campaign that she carries around Tabasco sauce in her purse. She obviously doesn’t.
But this is more about a new book’s startling revelations regarding her campaign.
U.S. News & World Report continued:
“She added: ‘When this administration rescinded protections for transgender students, my heart broke. When I learned about the proposed cuts in funding for HIV and AIDS research, I thought about all of our efforts to try and achieve an AIDS-free generation.’
She also said, ‘I know the election hit a lot of us hard. I can tell you this: Even when it feels tempting to pull the covers over your heads, please keep going.’
Clinton backers are upset with a new book analyzing her loss to Republican Trump last November. In ‘Shattered,’ authors Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes write that her campaign was plagued by power struggles among aides and a relatively weak candidate who didn’t understand the deep dissatisfaction among many Americans with official Washington and the ruling elites.
Clinton, the Democratic nominee, had been part of that establishment for many years, serving as secretary of state for President Barack Obama, U.S. senator from New York and first lady for the eight years during which her husband Bill Clinton was president.
The authors argue that Hillary Clinton underestimated Republican nominee Trump and his appeal. She also couldn’t decide on a compelling central theme for her campaign and lacked the vision to figure one out.
‘I don’t understand what’s happening with the country,’ Clinton is quoted as telling an adviser. ‘I can’t get my arms around it.’”
And in the wake of a total upheaval in the Democratic Party, this is exactly why the Democrats will refuse to nominate her if she tries to run again in 2020. It’s because she’s so out of touch with the American people’s needs that she is nothing but a clueless, emotionless panderer.
