ebt-cardsNumbers don’t lie.  Americans are suffering more than ever because Obama’s left-wing policies.

The numbers of Americans who rely on welfare, and can’t find jobs, are exploding under Obama’s hate-based economic policies of envy and greed.

The food stamp program, for example, has exploded by over 50 percent under Obama, the Heritage Foundation’s Ed Fuelner notes.

“…the food stamp program (officially known now as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP) is still much larger today than it was a decade ago—or, indeed, just a few years ago. In 2008, it was below 30 million. By 2013, it had hit 47.6 million,” he writes in the Daily Signal.

“One out of every seven Americans received SNAP benefits in 2014, and the program cost $74.1 billion,” he adds.

Liberals claim it is the result of an aging population, but the data expose that as a lie.

The rise in entitlement spending is fueled by people who used to work.

“Before the 2008 recession, 55 percent of SNAP households consisted of children and the elderly,” Fuelner notes.

“Now, however, a slight majority of recipients are non-elderly, able-bodied adults.”

If the economy is recovering, as Obama claims, why is food stamp enrollment growing?

The fact is opportunity is dying, while dependency is exploding, because Obama’s lust for spending and regulation is killing jobs.

“A record 94,031,000 Americans 16 or older did not participate in the nation’s labor force in August, and the labor force participation rate remained at 62.6 percent, a 38-year low, according to data released Friday from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS),” The Washington Free Beacon reports.

“The 94,031,000 Americans not in the labor force are those individuals who did not have a job and did not actively seek one in the past four weeks,” the Free Beacon reports. “This measure increased by 261,000 individuals over the month.”

Again, the cold, stark numbers reveal the brutality of Obama’s left-wing agenda.

And women are the hardest hit.

“For women, the employment situation is even more acute. A record 56,253,000 women 16 or older did not participate in the nation’s labor force in August, according to the BLS data. This measure increased by 44,000 individuals over the month,” The Free Beacon reports.

“When President Obama took office in January 2009, there were 49,226,000 women not in the labor force. This means that since that time, 7,027,000 women have dropped out of the labor force.”
