The liberal media and Social Justice Warriors would have you believe the beginning of Armageddon began when Donald Trump won the presidency.
The same people who cried about a nonexistent rampant racism that washed over this country were the same college students who went to whine in their “safe space” because they couldn’t face reality – who were also the same people who sparked massive protests in several cities throughout the country.
Now, certain SJW groups feel they need to keep a tally on the “hate crimes” that occurred since November 8th.
And far-left nonprofit group called the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a group which specializes in smearing conservatives and whipping up hatred and bigotry against Americans who oppose the left-wing assault on our politics and culture, did just that.
But this “group” dedicated to combating bigotry, left out the “hate crimes” committed against white students in a report entitled, “The Trump Effect: The Impact of the 2016 Presidential Election on Our Nation’s Schools.”
The SPLC surveyed over 10,000 K-12 teachers following the Republican nominee winning the presidency.
The SPLC and the American Federation of Teachers compiled a list of “hate incidents”,
but when people questioned where the statistics were on white children being harassed, the data vanished.
In response to the report, the New York Post questioned them about what information it had on the following survey statement: “I have heard derogatory language or slurs about white students.”
The New York Post said the answer to their question was hard to come by.
The Post reported:
“SPLC initially said it was having a hard time getting the information ‘from the researchers. Pressed, SPLC spokeswoman Kirsten Bokenkamp finally revealed that ‘about 20 percent answered affirmatively to that question.’”
Roughly 2,000 educators reported incidents perpetrated against white students, which were “mysteriously” left out of the report.
Other feedback in the report included:
- Nine out of 10 educators reported a negative impact on students’ mood and behavior following the election.
- Eight in 10 educators reported heightened anxiety on the part of marginalized students.
- Four in 10 educators reported derogatory language directed at students of color, Muslims, immigrants and people based on gender or sexual orientation.
Hans Bader, a former Education Department civil rights attorney, told the New York Post their reasoning was quite simple: bias.
Bader told the Post, “They left that result out because it would not fit their ideological narrative. It was deemed an inconvenient truth.”
Bader also added that SPLC’s standards for what constitutes as a hate crime would certainly not hold up in a court of law, as it includes common rhetoric about contested political language.
Bader continued, “It is simply ridiculous that SPLC treats ‘build the wall’ as hate rhetoric.”
One anonymous teacher from Michigan told the SPLC that white students were overheard saying, “build the wall; lock her up.”
The report clearly insinuates that this is a “hate incident.”
A panel from the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights responded to SPLC’s report last Friday by calling for increased federal funding for prosecuting hate crimes.
Are we going to prosecute children now?
This is clearly a cut and dry case of a liberal group developing a “report” to fit their bias.
Next thing you know, they’re going to deem Trump supporters as irresponsible parents and try to take their rights away.
