oregonThe FBI released a graphic video of Oregon State Police fatally shooting one of the ranchers involved in a standoff over the federal government’s mistreatment of ranchers.

In early January local ranchers, led by Ammon Bundy   the son of rancher Cliven Bundy, who led a face-off with the federal government over grazing fees initiated a takeover of Federal Wildlife Refuge Headquarters in protest over the government’s control of land and wildlife resources.

Bundy was arrested during a traffic stop Tuesday, where 56 year old Robert “LaVoy” Finicum was shot dead by police after they claimed he reached for a gun in his pocket.

Supporters of the Oregon ranchers maintain Finicum was trying to surrender and was murdered in cold blood.
