Republicans appear to be waving the white flag of surrender.

But this time it isn’t in response to a fight with Barack Obama.

This time it’s to Hillary Clinton.

Congressional Republicans appear resigned to the idea that Hillary will not face charges for her email scandal.

And they don’t appear to have the stomach to raise issues of conflict of interest or corruption in the Obama regime which would challenge why she is allowed to escape scot-free.

Politico reports:

“Should the FBI not recommend an indictment of Hillary Clinton following its investigation of the setup of her private email server, House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) on Monday said he and his Republican colleagues would “probably” accept the outcome.

“Oh, probably, because we do believe in [FBI Director] James Comey,” the Utah Republican said during an appearance on Fox News’ “Outnumbered.” “I do think that in all of the government, he is a man of integrity and honesty.”

Comey, Chaffetz continued, went before the House Judiciary Committee of which he is a member and said he “looks at this daily.”

“His finger is on the pulse of this. Nothing happens without him, and I think he is going to be the definitive person to make a determination or a recommendation,” Chaffetz said. “We’ll see where that goes.”

But what kind of pressure is FBI Director Comey facing by not recommending charges?

The Associated Press has already called the Democrat nomination for Hillary Clinton.

Will the Obama regime really allow charges to be brought against their Party’s nominee?

And why are Republicans taking the matter lying down?

Refusing to question why Hillary wouldn’t be charged allows the scandal to fade from the public consciousness.

Many experts believe it would be an outrage if Hillary isn’t charged.

Judge Andrew Napolitano and former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova both believe the evidence against Hillary is overwhelming.

And the former Defense Intelligence Head in the Obama regime, Lt. General Michael Flynn, has gone on the record stating Hillary should withdraw from the race.

The Hill reports:

“It’s been stated that there are 100 FBI agents that are on this case, and yet we have the FBI director that has told us that in all 50 states, we have Islamic State cases ongoing,” Flynn said on CNN’s “The Lead with Jake Tapper.”

“And I know the FBI is just overwhelmed with white-collar crime, child pornography cases, transnational organized criminal cases, as well as the Islamic State,” he added. “And now we have to put another 100 agents on this case of Hillary Clinton.

“So if she were to step down, the nation would allow itself to back down a little bit and let this investigation run its course with her not in the limelight and making this such a big, big deal.”

With so much evidence and expert testimony on their side, many believe there is no reason for the GOP to roll over and accept no charges for Hillary.
