Satanic Temple defends Planned Parenthood with gross-out protests

“Satan worshipers launched a counter-protest against pro-lifers outside the Detroit and Ferndale, Michigan Planned Parenthood locations Saturday,” The Washington Examiner reports.

“Clad in black robes, members of the Satanic Temple of Detroit drenched bound women with milk, simulating water-boarding to ‘illustrate the theocratic agenda imposed upon female bodies.” The milk symbolized breast milk, one of the protest organizers explained on Facebook,’ the Examiner reports.

The woman cried out in mock agony as their fellow Satanists, dressed as Christian priests, kept pouring the milk.

Satan worshippers took to the streets to counter-protest efforts by pro-life activists to draw attention to possible crimes committed by billion-dollar abortion corporation Planned Parenthood.

“Members of the Satanic Temple drew inspiration for their ‘political theatre’ from the nationwide anti-Planned Parenthood protests Saturday. Tens of thousands showed up to protest Planned Parenthood at over 300 locations across the country after a series of undercover videos revealed the abortion giant was harvesting and selling fetal organs and tissue,” the Examiner reports.

The Satanic Temple is an outspoken supporter of abortion, and is even suing the state of Missouri to overturn laws enforcing safety standards on abortion clinics.

The group has started an IndieGoGo fundraising campaign to finance the lawsuit, saying “The Satanic Temple is accepting donations to assist our efforts to challenge arbitrary, insulting, and outright harmful regulations imposed on women who seek abortions.”

The Satanic Temple claims abortion is a religious act.

“All funds for this campaign will go toward the general legal aid fund for The Satanic Temple’s efforts toward Religious Reproductive Rights,” they note. “This includes, but is not limited to, legal consultation and representation, lobbying, production of informational materials, outreach, and education. Where possible, TST will seek pro bono representation so as to more effectively utilize all funds raised.”

Videos taken of pro-abortion protests at the Texas State capitol in 2013 show liberals screaming “Hail Satan!” in an effort to drown out protesters singing “Amazing Grace.”
