Following the first presidential debate at Hofstra University, Donald Trump told reporters he was proud that he didn’t mention Bill Clinton’s rampant and almost incredulous infidelities.

Bill Clinton has apparently bragged about having sex with over 2000 women while married to his wife, but hey, Hillary seems to be okay with it.

You might wonder why Trump decided to take the high road while Hillary Clinton jabbed him several times.

Trump’s reasoning for holding back is because Chelsea Clinton was sitting in the front row.  And he’s known Chelsea since she was a child.

Trump told CNN following the debate:

“Everything I wanted to say I got out except for the transgressions of Bill.  I’m very happy that I was able to hold back on the indiscretions with respect to Bill Clinton, because I have a lot of respect for Chelsea Clinton and I just didn’t want to say what I was going to say.”

And Chelsea Clinton and Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, have been friends for many years, but the very next day Chelsea was questioned about her reaction to Trump’s respect for her.

Chelsea Clinton responded in Cosmo:

“Well, my reaction to that is just what my reaction has been kind of every time Trump has gone after my mom or my family, which is that it’s a distraction from his inability to talk about what’s actually at stake in this election and to offer concrete, comprehensive proposals about the economy, or our public school system, or debt-free college, or keeping our country safe and Americans safe here at home and around the world.”

Are we missing something here?  What debate was Chelsea watching?  She was in the front row, wasn’t she?

During the debate, Trump successfully called out Hillary Clinton’s extensive do-nothing track record in politics.

Trump also attacked the failed trade deals that she supported.

Chelsea went on:

“…And candidly, I don’t remember a time in my life when my parents and my family weren’t being attacked, and so it just sort of seems to be in that tradition, unfortunately.

And what I find most troubling by far are Trump’s — and we talked about this when you interviewed me the night before the Iowa caucus — are Trump’s continued, relentless attacks on whole swaths of our country and even our global community: women, Muslims, Americans with disabilities, a Gold Star family.

I mean, that, to me, is far more troubling than whatever his most recent screed against my mom or my family [is]. “

Trump might be the most misquoted and misinterpreted figure in the history of the United States political arena.

Trump was attacked for joking about a beauty pageant contestant and calling her “piggy”. But what is misunderstood about the joke is that it was in regards to the cutthroat beauty pageant industry.

In Las Vegas, Nevada, waitresses are hired as “models” so that restaurateurs can monitor their weight gain and fire them if they become negligible about it.

It might be harsh, but that’s the harsh reality.

In the debate, Donald Trump discussed his country club in Palm Beach, Florida where he hires African Americans, Muslims, and people with disabilities, something he is very proud of.

So what the heck is Chelsea talking about here?

This is a typical case of smoke in mirrors.  Chelsea is deflecting from her father’s “shortcomings” (pun intended) with the usual liberal accusations.
