The New York Times has made a name for themselves as one of the leading providers of fake news.

And one of their reporters found herself in a Twitter feud with the founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange.

The Twitter feud abruptly ended after Assange dropped such a huge bombshell that the reporter didn’t know how to respond.

Maggie Haberman is a New York Times reporter, and Hillary Clinton loyalist.

When she went to Twitter with the following tweet, she didn’t expect what was going to happen next.

After this tweet went out, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange called her out on her Clinton loyalty, and corrupt one-sided journalism.

In his tweet, Assange linked to his infamous WikiLeaks website, where he quoted a leaked Hillary Clinton campaign email.

In a section about the campaign “placing stories,” the email directly named Maggie Haberman, who was at Politico at the time.

The email released by WikiLeaks reads:

“Placing a Story

As discussed on our call, we are all in agreement that the time is right place a story with a friendly journalist in the coming days that positions us a little more transparently while achieving the above goals.

Who:

For something like this, especially in the absence of us teasing things out to others, we feel that it’s important to go with what is safe and what has worked in the past, and to a publication that will reach industry people for recruitment purposes.

We have has a very good relationship with Maggie Haberman of Politico over the last year. We have had her tee up stories for us before and have never been disappointed. While we should have a larger conversation in the near future about a broader strategy for re-engaging the beat press that covers HRC, for this we think we can achieve our objective and do the most shaping by going to Maggie.”

The email, sent by Democrat pollster Joel Benson, was sent to the top brass of Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign.

The email chain includes Hillary’s campaign manager Robby Mook, campaign vice-chair Huma Abedin, and campaign chairman John Podesta.

This email highlights a big problem with the media in the United States.

Currently, the political establishment controls the mainstream media.

Someone like Hillary Clinton can get constant positive press from left-wing media outlets, while President Trump is constantly on their target list.

The mainstream media mercilessly drags President Trump through the mud over and over and refuses to even listen to his side of the story on many occasions.

The coverage of Charlottesville highlights this issue.

After disavowing white supremacists and neo-Nazis constantly, the media continued to either claim he never actually disavowed, or that he didn’t disavow them harshly enough.

The truth is, the media will likely never cover Trump fairly.

But thankfully, supporters of the President have been seeing through their near-constant lies.
