The Trump-Russia dossier is at the heart of the witch hunt against the President.

Republicans have been demanding answers about how the FBI used it in their investigation of Donald Trump.

And the truth is even crazier than anyone could have imagined.

Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson testified behind closed doors to the Senate Judiciary Committee about the dossier that was compiled after his firm commissioned ex-British MI6 agent Christopher Steele.

California Democrat Diane Feinstein then released his testimony to the public.

The Daily Caller reports:

“California Sen. Dianne Feinstein circumvented her Republican colleagues on the Senate Judiciary Committee Tuesday and released more than 300 pages of testimony provided last year by Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson.

Feinstein’s decision came after a tense back-and-forth between Republicans and Democrats over what to do with the transcript of Simpson’s interview, which he provided on Aug. 22.

That battle heated up last week after Simpson and his Fusion GPS co-founder Peter Fritsch penned an op-ed in The New York Times calling on the three congressional committees who have interviewed Fusion GPS employees to release transcripts of the interviews.

Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, balked at the idea, saying that the transcript needed to remain confidential while the panel is interviewing other witnesses.”

One of the many bombshells in the testimony is that Simpson has no idea if the information in the dossier is accurate.

The testimony also confirms that Steele and Simpson shopped the dossier to reporters during the 2016 campaign to try and derail Trump.

But no entity – not any media organization or the FBI – has been able to substantiate Steele’s allegations of collusion.

The truth is the document is just a large collection of misinformation paid for by Democrats to hurt Trump.
