Boy, those Obama’s sure do like messing with your freedom.

Michelle’s husband’s a particularly big offender as he’s the one who’s working so hard to end second amendment freedoms along with eliminating your ability to remain insured at a reasonable rate.

And Michelle’s not too far behind her husband in stamping out freedom. Her biggest thing is working on telling America’s children what they can and cannot eat via her healthy eating programs…more like gulag meal replacements.

In her most recent move to help American children watch their waistlines, Mrs. Obama has decided popular cereals enjoyed by millions of American children are no longer allowed to be served to them in after school care centers.

There you have it, the Obama’s are officially the worst family ever to sit in the White House.

Here’s what the Conservative Tribune writes about Michelle Obama’s recent meddling.

New rules brought about by Obama’s lunch legislation ban popular cereals children love in daycare centers across the country. Even worse, childcare centers will not be allowed to serve fried food, they will only be allowed to serve juice once a day and will be encouraged not to add honey to a child’s serving of yogurt, according to the Washington Free Beacon.

The new rules, which go into effect in 60 days, also place strict limits on the amount of sugar in cereals served at childcare and adult day care centers. Breakfast cereals cannot contain more than 6 grams of sugar per dry ounce, according to the regulation. According to that rule, Lucky Charms, Trix, Cocoa Puffs, Cap’n Crunch and Frosted Flakes will no longer be options.

Here’s the thing about all of this.

Millions of tax dollars are used to buy school lunches. These tax dollars are taken from every single American whether they like it or not.

If parents were to have that money back you better be sure they’d buy the cereal their kids wanted.

And that’s why the government should allow it on school menus nationwide. Food choices are  representative of a basic freedom and when children’s meals resemble those fed to prison inmates it’s a clear indication of how our leaders view them.

Of course this was undertaken without considerable thought to economic consequences.

The Obama administration says this is a cost neutral decision, so it shouldn’t affect prices anywhere else.

And yet those most familiar with the economic impact this final update to the Child and Adult Care Food Program say that’s not true at all.  A fair number of people who work in the food service industry “voiced concerns that some aspects of the proposed rule would limit food choices, increase costs, and prohibit serving nutritious foods that may be more palatable to children.”

Thanks to Michelle Obama millions of kids are going to go hungry because they don’t want to eat the food given to them and the whole thing’s going to cost you even more on your federal income return.

What a legacy they leave.

How do you feel about Michelle’s constant interference with food choices?
