The swamp has thrown the kitchen sink at Judge Roy Moore.

Mitch McConnell and his cronies are working with the liberal media to sink Moore’s candidacy because he can’t be controlled by the establishment.

And now something so shocking just happened that it just changed the entire dynamics of the race.

Judge Moore and his supporters believe McConnell and his allies planted rumors of sexual misconduct in the press so as to force Moore out of the race and replace him with a handpicked candidate who would do McConnell’s bidding.

Moore made replacing McConnell as Majority Leader and working with Donald Trump to drain the swamp the centerpiece of his campaign.

And because he stood with the people against the elites, McConnell and his crew tried to engineer a political hit job.

But it failed in spectacular fashion.

Moore stood strong against the smears and the Alabama Republican Party rallied to his side.

He even gave thought to getting out of the race and that made McConnell’s preferred strategy – running a swamp friendly candidate in a write in campaign.

The time for that plan to be put into motion has expired.

Republican Governor Kay Ivey refused to move the date of the special election because she feared political retribution from Moore supporters in her gubernatorial primary.

The Daily Caller reported:

“A write-in campaign supported by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in the Alabama Senate race is not “viable” anymore, a source close to the majority leader’s political operation told The Daily Caller Monday.

McConnell and other establishment Republicans, such as National Republican Senatorial Committee chairman Cory Gardner, have called on Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore to drop out of the race due to allegations of sexual misconduct with minors.

“We’re looking at whether or not there’s someone who could mount a write-in campaign successfully,” the Senate majority leader told reporters last week.

Now, however, things are different.

The source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said that there are currently only two options McConnell world sees transpiring: Moore wins and the Senate expels him, or Democrat Doug Jones wins. Recent public polling has put Jones ahead of Moore in the reliably Republican state of Alabama, and the source told TheDC that he thinks a Jones win is looking “more likely.”

Republican Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey had the power to move back the Dec. 12 special election, a move that McConnell allies would have strongly supported.

“Ivey didn’t have the guts” to postpone the election, according to the source, because she was afraid of being primaried by Moore in the 2018 gubernatorial election.”

McConnell schemed to execute one of the dirtiest tricks in American political history.

He weaponized gossip and passed it off to the liberal media to undo an election where conservatives trounced his hand-picked candidate.

It failed and Judge Moore still stands a strong chance of winning the election.

And now that he knows he owes nothing to McConnell and the swamp creatures in the Senate, he will be an even bigger threat to their grip on power.
