The anti-Trump media has been hyping revelations about Robert Mueller’s witch hunt against the President.

Each new story is treated as the smoking gun that will take down Trump once and for all.

But Mueller just sent this warning that turned his investigation upside down.

McClatchy set off the latest media firestorm when they reported the special counsel had evidence that Trump attorney Michael Cohen had traveled to Prague in August or September 2016.

If true, that would substantiate a claim made in the Christopher Steele dossier that Cohen traveled to Prague to meet with a Kremlin connected operative about colluding on hacked emails.

But Cohen has repeatedly denied this allegation.

He allowed Buzzfeed to view his passport which showed no trips to Europe in that time period.

And a posting on social media showed him in Los Angeles during the time Steele alleged he was in Europe.

This was more fake news designed to fuel a media narrative.

But Mueller’s office had a surprising comment when asked about this story.

The Daily Caller reports the spokesman informed them that many stories regarding their investigation were “inaccurate”:

“A spokesperson for the special counsel’s office wouldn’t comment on the Cohen-Prague story specifically, but told The Daily Caller News Foundation that “many stories” about the

Russia investigation have been “inaccurate.”

“What I have been telling all reporters is that many stories about our investigation have been inaccurate. Be very cautious about any source that claims to have knowledge about our investigation and dig deep into what they claim before reporting on it,” the spokesperson said. “If another outlet reports something, don’t run with it unless you have your own sourcing to back it up.”

This news should send the media into a panic.

So-called news outlets have been reporting for months that Mueller is closing in on the President in the Russia investigation or for obstruction of justice.

This statement implies they have been misleading their audience.
