Jerry Brown is one of the most popular Democrats in the nation. As the governor of California, a state whose population contains more than 13% of all Americans, he’s venerated as a God in leftist circles.

Which is why it’s oddly humorous the Governor is attacking Trump on his immigration policies…despite some 40 years ago protesting receiving immigrants in his home state.

Just the other day Brown lambasted Republicans and said they were the main reason behind our nation’s immigration problems.

According to the Sacramento Bee, Brown said:

“California Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday delivered a blunt message to the Republicans he blames for the country’s dysfunctional immigration system. “I think it’s time to just chill, recognize the fact that they’re here,” Brown said of the country’s undocumented immigrants.

“With all the other talk and noise about the border, the fact is America has 10 to 11 million people that are here,” he continued. “And they’re human beings, they have families, it’s very important that they are integrated in a humane, intelligent way.”

But guess what.

43 years ago when Brown was Governor of California he refused to accept thousands of Vietnamese immigrants from coming to his home state.

Brown said: “We can’t be looking 5,000 miles away and at the same time neglecting people who live here.”

Part of the reason he likely said that as you can read in the image below is because he didn’t want refugees coming to his state who would vote Republican.

But since most of the immigrants who would be allowed to come to California now are likely to vote Democrat he’s obviously totally fine with having them in this day and age.

It’s hypocrisy at its finest.

Brown and his ilk don’t care about these people. They only care about obtaining and retaining power. Illegal immigrants who are given amnesty are pawns in a larger power scheme.

Even more humorous is how the President isn’t carrying out a violent vendetta against illegal immigrants.

He’s just following up on a law that Brown’s buddy, Barack Obama, passed while in office.

Perhaps Brown should eat his own words and take care of California and its citizens rather than creating sanctuary cities across the country that allow for nests of criminals to flourish…
