The FBI’s collusion case against Donald Trump is resting on the testimony of one witness.

This surprise witness is sitting on the evidence that could decide Donald Trump’s fate.

And you won’t believe what he had to say.

Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska was interviewed by the FBI in September 2016 about former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort allegedly colluding with Russia.

These accusations – and the interview – were the poisonous fruit of the fake news Christopher Steele dossier that was paid for by the Clintons and Democratic National Committee.

Deripaska stunned the FBI agents when he assumed their questions were a joke.

The Russian mocked the idea of collusion and laughed off the accusations.

The Daily Caller reports:

“In September 2016, FBI agents approached Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska to ask about allegations President Donald Trump’s campaign was colluding with the Russian government to influence the election, according to a new report.

Deripaska, who was at his apartment in New York City for the interview, waived the three agents off of the collusion theory, saying there was no coordination between the Trump team and Kremlin, The Hill reported Monday.

The agents, one of whom Deripaska knew from a previous FBI case, said they believed former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort was involved in the conspiracy, an allegation made in the infamous Steele dossier.

“Deripaska laughed but realized, despite the joviality, that they were serious,” Adam Waldman, a former lawyer for Deripaska, told The Hill. “So he told them in his informed opinion the idea they were proposing was false.”

“You are trying to create something out of nothing,” Deripaska told the agents, according to Waldman.

The dossier, former British spy Christopher Steele wrote and Democrats funded, alleges Manafort used Carter Page, a Trump campaign adviser, to coordinate with Russian operatives to help influence the election.”

Another interesting note to this story is Mueller’s ties to Deripaska.

Deripaska forked over $25 million of his own money to help track down FBI agent Robert Levinson who was apprehended in 2007 in Iran.

Mueller was running this operation in his capacity as head of the FBI.

The Daily Caller reports:

“But Deripaska has also helped the FBI. Deripaska paid $25 million out of his own pocket to help the FBI track down Robert Levinson, a retired FBI agent who was apprehended in Iran in 2007 while working for the CIA, The Hill also reported.

Then-FBI Director Robert Mueller oversaw the operation, which ultimately failed to secure Levinson’s release. Mueller is currently leading the special counsel’s investigation into possible Trump-Russia collusion.”

Deripaska’s interview shows the FBI was thoroughly investigating collusion even during the election.

And their probe produced nothing.

Deripaska – who has aided America in the past – is someone whose connections to the FBI, Trump campaign, and the Russian government would have provided them a bird’s eye view to any collusion.

And Deripaska assumed the questions about Paul Manafort colluding with the Russians were a joke.

If the Mueller probe was simply a joke, this would be easy to laugh off.

But Mueller and his investigations are an assault on the ability of Americans to choose their leaders.

This investigation is the tip of the spear in a silent coup to oust Donald Trump and return power to the swamp.
