sneakyobamaDespite Barack Obama’s promise there were no side deals in his draft agreement to let Iran develop nuclear capacity, Iran has revealed a stunning side deal.

Under Obama’s agreement, the inspections to ensure Iran is not developing nuclear weapons would be carried out by…Iran.

“Iran will be allowed to use its own inspectors to investigate a site it has been accused of using to develop nuclear arms, operating under a secret agreement with the U.N. agency that normally carries out such work,” The Associated Press reports.

“The newly disclosed side agreement, for an investigation of the Parchin nuclear site by the U.N.’s International Atomic Energy Agency, is linked to persistent allegations that Iran has worked on atomic weapons. That investigation is part of the overarching nuclear-limits deal,” the AP reports.

Obama explicitly stated there were no side deals.

“The White House has repeatedly denied claims of a secret side deal favorable to Tehran,” the AP reports.

Obama had also previously claimed his agreement included “unprecedented” levels of inspection and verification.

For once, Obama is not lying.

Allowing a state sponsor of terrorism to inspect itself is, indeed, unprecedented.

Despite Obama’s claims the agreement heads off war, allowing Iran to be its own inspector guarantees they will develop nuclear weapons.

“Iran has refused access to Parchin for years and has denied any interest in — or work on — nuclear weapons. Based on U.S., Israeli and other intelligence and its own research, the IAEA suspects that the Islamic Republic may have experimented with high-explosive detonators for nuclear arms,” the AP reports.

Experts on nuclear weapons find Obama’s agreement disturbing.

“International inspections should be done by international inspectors. Period,” said House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce.

Despite Obama’s insistence that Iran be allowed to inspect itself to ensure it does not have illegal weapons, Obama will not extend that courtesy to American gun owners.

A new Fox News poll finds that 50 percent of Democrats support Obama’s Iran deal, even though 59 percent of them don’t trust Iran to actually honor it.
