Megyn Kelly is going after Donald Trump.

Her career is on the rocks and she is plotting to take down the President to revive her prospects.

And now she is conducting the one interview that she hopes will ruin Trump for good.

When Democrats forced Al Franken and John Conyers to resign over allegations of sexual misconduct, conservatives saw right through what they were doing.

This was not an exercise in doing the right thing or protecting women.

The goal was to establish a precedent of resignation following accusations so they could dredge up the allegations against Trump from the 2016 campaign and insist he leave office.

It played out exactly as conservatives predicted when Megyn Kelly announced she was conducting an interview with three women who leveled questionable allegations against Trump in 2016.

The Daily Mail reports:

“Three women who have publicly accused President Donald Trump of sexual misconduct will sit down for a live interview with NBC News host Megyn Kelly on Monday morning to discuss their claims.

Jessica Leeds, Rachel Crooks and Samantha Holvey are three of at least 16 women who have accused Trump of sexual harassment.

Trump has steadfastly denied the allegations since they emerged during his presidential campaign.

The accusations against Trump have received new attention after he announced full support for Republican Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore.

Moore has been accused of sexual misconduct by a number of women, including one who says he tried to sexually touch her when she was just 14 years old, and he was 32.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told NBC News of Kelly’s upcoming interviews: ‘The president addressed these accusations directly during the campaign and we have no changes.’”

During the campaign Trump denied all the charges and claimed the women were liars.

The timing of the allegations – just one month before the election – as well as the lack of evidence led many Americans to dismiss them as politically motivated.

But with the Mueller investigation coming up empty, the attempts to remove Trump from office are shifting to highly questionable sexual misconduct allegations.

And Megyn Kelly is positioning herself at the forefront of that scheme.
