Arizona Senator Jeff Flake is one of the biggest anti-Trump traitors in the Republican Party.

He worked at every turn to sabotage Trump during the 2016 election.

Now he’s challenged Trump in a shocking manner that could be political doom.

Flake has been making the rounds of left leaning cable news shows to promote his new book, ‘Conscience of a Conservative’.

In the book, he blasts Trump as unconservative, a conspiracy theorist and a demagogue who is bad for America.

An excerpt of his book appeared in Politico:

But then the period of collapse and dysfunction set in, amplified by the internet and our growing sense of alienation from each other, and we lost our way and began to rationalize away our principles in the process. But where does such capitulation take us? If by 2017 the conservative bargain was to go along for the very bumpy ride because with congressional hegemony and the White House we had the numbers to achieve some long-held policy goals—even as we put at risk our institutions and our values—then it was a very real question whether any such policy victories wouldn’t be Pyrrhic ones. If this was our Faustian bargain, then it was not worth it. If ultimately our principles were so malleable as to no longer be principles, then what was the point of political victories in the first place?

Flake pretends to be a conservative on the cable news circuit but votes like a garden variety leftist in the Senate.

He is one of the leading champions for amnesty and open borders.

By opposing pro-America immigration policies and importing cheap labor, Flake is working to drive down the wages of American workers.

Flake also only has a 53% liberty score –which grades out to be a big fat “F’ from conservative reviews.

Trump supporters quickly took Flake to the woodshed for writing a fake news book to mask his liberal record in order to try and upend Trump.

Conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham noted Flake is facing a Republican primary challenge and promised to campaign against him.

And Media Research Center President L. Brent Bozell III – whose father was the ghost writer for the original ‘Conscience of a Conservative’ with Barry Goldwater – ripped Flake as a con artist.

But those aren’t Flake’s biggest worries.

Reports have surfaced that the White House has met with potential primary challengers and that the Trump administration may work to take him out.

Politico reports:

“The White House has met with at least three actual or prospective primary challengers to Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake in recent weeks, a reflection of Donald Trump’s strained relations with the senator and the latest sign of the president’s willingness to play hardball with lawmakers who cross him — even Republican incumbents. Flake, a longtime Trump critic who refused to endorse the president during the 2016 campaign, is one of a handful of undecided Republican votes on the Obamacare repeal effort. He’s also one of the most vulnerable Republicans up for reelection in 2018.

“Since taking office, Trump has spoken with Arizona state Treasurer Jeff DeWit, a top official on his 2016 campaign, on at least two occasions, according to two sources familiar with the talks. Since June, White House officials have also had discussions with former state Sen. Kelli Ward, who has announced her bid, and former Arizona GOP Chairman Robert Graham, who like DeWit is exploring a campaign.”

Will Flake’s anti-Trump book and liberal voting record be the end of his career?
