The establishment is ramping up their attacks on Donald Trump.

Now even former President’s are throwing punches Trump’s way.

And George W. Bush’s disgusting attack on Trump will leave you speechless.

The former President trashed Donald Trump and offered full-throated cheerleading for open borders and globalism during a speech at the George W. Bush institute.

Breitbart reports:

“Former President George W. Bush delivered a public repudiation of President Donald Trump’s political identity, suggesting many aspects of the current administration are fueling division in the United States and around the world.

The former president defended the ideas of globalism, free trade, and free markets as well as foreign interventionism around the world in a speech at the George W. Bush Institute.

“We cannot wish globalism away,” Bush said, noting that the United States must sustain “wise and sustained global engagement” for the future of the country.

Bush indirectly accused Trump of fueling dangerous ideologies that threatened the unity of the United States and global stability, spending a large portion of his speech complaining about social ills in the country.

“We’ve seen a return of isolationist sentiments forgetting that American security is directly threatened by the chaos and despair of distant places,” he warned.

Bush urged Americans to “recover our own identity,” citing a commitment to global engagement, free and international trade, and immigration.

“We’ve seen nationalism distorted into nativism, and forgotten the dynamism that immigration has always brought to America,” he lamented.

“Bigotry seems emboldened, our politics seems more vulnerable to conspiracy theories and outright fabrication,” he said. “There are some signs that support for democracy itself has waned especially for the young.”

He also echoed many of the smears establishment types and members of the fake news media hurl at Trump for his tweets by blasting the “bullying” and “casual cruelty” of today’s politics.

Conservatives were appalled.

Rush Limbaugh compared Bush sliming Trump supporters as racist and bigots as his “basket of deplorables” moment.

Critics on the right also ripped Bush because for eight years he sat silently as Barack Obama plunged our nation into racial division and schemed to remake America with his socialist agenda.

Obama puncturing the heart of everything that made America great drew nary one word from former President Bush.

But Donald Trump – who is merely fulfilling the agenda he was elected to fulfill – like putting Americans first by cracking down on illegal immigration, ending one sided trade deals, and rejecting foreign wars of adventure – is told that he resides outside the bounds of American politics decency.

George Bush’s disastrous legacy included open borders, failed amnesty schemes, disastrous foreign wars, and an $800 billion bailout of Washington.

Putting America last – but global and Wall Street interests first – should relegate Bush to the fringes of political discourse, not Trump.

But since he is the type of “Republican” the media claims represents the American tradition – and what they mean by that is he doesn’t really disagree with the Democrats agenda and will absorb all their attacks without fighting back – he is portrayed as an example of how Presidents should conduct their business.
