John McCain has been perhaps the most vocal anti-Trump Republican.

He has gone far enough to work with the Democrats just to spite the President.

And shocking evidence linking him to the Clinton-funded Trump Russia dossier just dropped.

Fusion GPS is the controversial opposition research firm that compiled the infamous 35-page dossier on President Donald Trump.

The dossier was released in an attempt to bring down the President after the election.

And since its release it has come out that the document was funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

While Hillary Clinton providing funding isn’t very surprising, many were shocked to find out the dossier was passed over to John McCain immediately after its completion.

Once it was passed on to McCain, he sent it to the Obama-era U.S. intelligence community.

As reported by Breitbart:

“The founders of the controversial opposition research firm Fusion GPS admitted that they helped the researcher hired to compile the infamous, largely discredited 35-page dossier on President Donald Trump to share the document with Sen. John McCain.

The goal of providing the dossier to McCain, the Fusion GPS founders explained, was to pass the information contained in the questionable document to the U.S. intelligence community under the Obama administration.

The disclosure raises questions about whether McCain knew that the information he delivered to the intelligence community was actually an opposition document reportedly funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.”

This new information raises the question: Did John McCain know the information he gave to the intelligence community was actually an opposition document funded by Hillary Clinton?

When Breitbart News presented that question to John McCain and his staff, they did not receive an answer.

But the Fusion GPS founders shed a little bit of light on the situation.

In a New York Times op-ed published last Tuesday, Fusion GPS founders Glenn R. Simpson and Peter Fritch admitted that they helped McCain share their anti-Trump dossier with the intelligence community through an “emissary.”

Once it was passed onto the intelligence community, it was used by then FBI Director James Comey as a basis for the probe into alleged Russia interference into the 2016 Presidential election.

Again reported by Breitbart:

“Last December, it was revealed that it was McCain who notoriously passed the controversial dossier documents produced by the Washington opposition research firm Fusion GPS to then FBI Director James Comey, whose agency reportedly utilized the dossier as a basis for its probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Writing in a New York Times op-ed last Tuesday, Fusion GPS founders Glenn R. Simpson and Peter Fritch relate that they helped McCain share their anti-Trump dossier with the intelligence community via an “emissary.”

“After the election, Mr. Steele decided to share his intelligence with Senator John McCain via an emissary,” the Fusion GPS founders related. “We helped him do that. The goal was to alert the United States national security community to an attack on our country by a hostile foreign power.””

So it was likely John McCain, not Hillary Clinton or the Democratic National Committee that sent the Russia dossier to James Comey, and opened the Russia investigation.

Do you think that John McCain should retire now for betraying his President?
